"This colored ink illustration was the last piece I completed for my solo show at Gallery Nucleus back in 2021. I’d had the sketch for this character lying in bed hidden in my desk drawer for a while before I thought of adding the ghostly presence beside them. With the gentle atmosphere and soft colors I tried to convey that warm sensation when you feel like someone you lost could actually still be there with you."
