“This colored ink illustration is from October 2019. I’m often inspired by mythology, this time by the shapeshifting selkie of Celtic folklore, and wanted to find some warmth and beauty in the seemingly endless cold and gray autumn mornings. I had a lot of fun with the textures on the seals and rocks, and the scenery is not unlike the northern seashore I explore on my walks.”
