“This illustration from 2018 was done mostly in colored inks, with some texture added with colored pencils and line art using a brush pen. I found the warm purple and green an interesting color combination to work with! I’m drawn to imagery of nature reclaiming human made spaces and structures, and this piece was inspired by the vertical forests of Chinese architecture.”
