“This colored ink illustration was originally painted for the Spellbinders group exhibition at Gallery Nucleus. I rarely use violet as a dominant color when I paint, so the almost monochromatic color scheme makes this piece stand out. This character with their short bob and sportswear has made many appearances in my work over the years, this time enjoying a mundane rainy season evening.”
