IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DECEMBER 2024:
Orders placed after December 17th, 2024, will not be shipped until January 2025. We are doing our best to get as many orders on their way before the holidays as we can, but we cannot guarantee we'll get to your order in time if it has been placed after the time specified above. Thank you for understanding!
Any packages shipped via regular postal services (Letter & TRACKED Parcel shipping) cannot be guaranteed to arrive by a specific date, no matter the destination. Please consider opting for DHL Express for time sensitive orders.

We ship orders as fast as we can, but during big product launches or sales campaigns we may take longer than usual to get to your order. Thank you for understanding!
Read this before making a purchase!
All items are shipped from Tampere, Finland. Orders are processed as soon as possible, but please note that during the busiest periods (e.g. around the holiday season) it may take up to three weeks for us to get to your order. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order, so the best way to find out the shipping cost for a specific item is to add it to your cart and proceed to checkout.
When buying from Heikala Shop there are two different shipping options to choose from: DHL Express and standard letter & parcel services provided by the Finnish national postal service Posti and the German national postal service Deutsche Post. Please note that there may be additional charges upon import outside the EU.
DHL Express
DHL Express is a fast and reliable way to get your package. All DHL Express shipments include full tracking, and transit times should be around 3-7 business days worldwide.
Please note that because DHL requires all packages to be personally signed for, these shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes. You may have the option of authorizing DHL to deliver the package without a signature, but please be aware that opting for that will release us from any liability should the package be stolen or misplaced. For delivery related problems or questions we recommend contacting your local DHL Express customer service before contacting us, as we have no access to DHL's delivery records.
Gift orders: Please provide the phone number of the recipient of the package when making the order! DHL Express will need to contact them to schedule delivery.
Posti & Deutsche Post
The Standard Letter shipping method provided by the German national postal service Deutsche Post is a cheap, slow way to get your order. These shipments cannot be tracked.
The current estimated transit times for these packages vary based on destination, with domestic (Finnish) orders taking 1-3 business days to arrive, European orders 2-6 weeks, and orders to the rest of the world taking anything from 5 to 12 weeks. Please allow at least 30 business days before inquiring after a lost package.
The TRACKED Parcel shipping method includes tracking. These packages are also shipped via Deutsche Post and will be delivered to your mailbox if small enough, like regular letters. These parcels generally arrive sooner than untracked ones, but since they are still carried by the postal service delays are common.
All domestic (Finnish) orders are shipped via the Finnish national postal service Posti.
Don't hesitate to contact us if the mail carrier in your area has a habit of bending envelopes, as we'd be more than happy to take additional precautions, such as adding an extra piece of cardboard with print orders and writing instructions in languages other than English on the package.
Customs clearance & service fees
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import tax.
Heikala Shop is not liable for customs clearance & service fees as determined by the mail carrier or the destination country's customs officials, and those fees are not a basis for a refund, as they aren't something we're able to control or reliably predict. By making an order the buyer acknowledges the possibility of additional fees upon import and agrees that those fees will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Please note that DHL's service fees for customs clearance vary wildly, and in some cases may surpass the value of the order. Some of these fees can be avoided by handling customs clearance yourself, if that is possible in your country – contact your local DHL representative or customs office if you're unsure.
Please note that all items will be valued at their retail price on the customs documents, without exception.
