“The deep blue-green color scheme in this colored ink illustration found its way to many of my works in 2019. The setting is inspired by the charming little house in Tokyo I’ve stayed at during many of my visits, and I wanted to capture the nostalgic, slice-of-life feel of the neighborhood in this sweet rainy day encounter.”
