“This colored ink illustration was painted for the Spellbinders 2 group exhibition at Gallery Nucleus. I used a wet-on-wet technique as much as I could and avoided dark lines to bring an ethereal quality to the misty forest. It was fun to play with contrast without any dark areas, and I think the result ended up soft and balanced in an interesting way.”
